“Sometimes the end is really just the
beginning…”
—Spoonin’ Lo
I always thought of myself as just your average woman—nothing special. But over time, it became clear: I’m anything but average. This is just the beginning of learning how strong, capable, and resilient I truly am.

💫 College, Confusion, and the Beginning of Something Bigger
I went to college for my associate degree in Occupational Therapy— all while trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged.
Although it wasn’t always easy, it became the beginning of me choosing purpose over fear.
💔 Toxic Love Wasn’t the End—It Was Just the Beginning
Toxic and abusive relationships—emotional, physical and mental—left scars I didn’t always know how to heal.
However, they also sparked something in me. The end of those chapters became just the beginning of rediscovering my worth, my voice, and my boundaries.
👣 Losing Custody Of My Son—But Not My Hope
Losing custody of my son was the most painful part of my journey. It didn’t just break me—it reshaped who I was. Still, I kept fighting. What looked like an ending was, in truth, the beginning of a fiercer kind of motherhood and strength.
🚑 A Near-Fatal Crash—and the Strength to Start Again
At 25, I survived a horrific accident that doctors weren’t sure I’d live through. Skull fractures. Punctured lungs. Organs failing. Bones shattered.
But, by the grace of God—and a whole lot of hard work— I pulled through.
That moment didn’t end me. Instead, it marked the beginning of my second life.
🌱 There’s More to Come
Now, at 37, I’ve lived through more than I ever imagined.
Still, I’m here—standing.
Even on the hardest days, I show up. I do what needs to be done. Because that’s what healing often looks like.
🖤
If you’ve been through heartbreak, trauma, loss, or pain— and still refuse to let life keep you down— you’re not alone.
I see you. Ultimately, I am you.
Need a quiet space to reflect on your own story?
This journal gave me one when I needed it most.
🧱 Let’s Build Something Together—This Is Just the Beginning
You’re not alone.
As a result, this space isn’t just my story—it’s our beginning.
Hopefully, it’ll be a place where survivors, fighters, and healing hearts can come together— to grow, connect, and be heard.
Ultimately, let’s build a community rooted in strength, truth, and hope
After all, this is just the beginning.
🖤
I am not just what life did to me. But, I am what I built from the wreckage. —Spoonin’ Lo
